April 26 Casting Acting Coach
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I’m running an audition session on Sunday, April 26th from 2:00-4:00 PM at the DC Public Library and need an energetic, encouraging acting coach to keep the room flowing smoothly. The performers are adult actors, many of whom are new to my work, so your ability to create an inviting atmosphere from the moment you greet them is essential.
I’m happy to collaborate with someone who is still early in their coaching career; what matters most is your enthusiasm and your skill with Method acting and improvisation. During the two-hour block you will:
• Lead a brief physical and vocal warm-up
• Guide character role-playing and scene breakdowns drawn directly from the script
• Offer on-the-spot performance notes to help each actor find truthful moments
• Keep us on schedule while maintaining positive energy in the room

Bring any simple rehearsal tools you prefer—stretch bands, focus games, or improv prompts—and a readiness to jump in. Let me know what you need from me ahead of time (script pages, room layout, etc.) so everything is set before call time.
