acoustic report
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am looking for an experienced expert to prepare an acoustic report for a "change of use" application for a building - specifically the fit-out of a single function room. The purpose of the report is to assess noise control and mitigation from our proposed use. We will supply documentation of the building plans and all materials being used in the fit out. I do not need guidance on how to implement the report's recommendations, as I can do that myself. The timeline for the project is within two weeks.
The successful freelancer must be knowledgeable in acoustical measurements and assessments and demonstrate a thorough understanding of building design and construction. They should also have expertise in sound propagation and transmission, as well as acoustic properties of different materials and their impacts on the building environment. They should be able to efficiently analyse information to identify sources of sound and develop solutions to reduce its impacts.
The ideal freelancer should be able to deliver a comprehensive report with necessary measurements and initiatives to issue a noise control strategy. This acoustic report should adhere to Australian industry standards.
