I’m planning a new ultrasonic testing system dedicated to non-destructive evaluation and I need an experienced acoustics/ultrasonics mind to shape the entire architecture with me—from transducer selection all the way to signal processing and integration into our existing data-acquisition workflow.

Here’s what I expect from the engagement:
• A complete design blueprint covering transducer choice, drive electronics, coupling approach, and receiver chain for a pipeline system data transmission, analysis using ultrasonics, acoustics engineering. Class1 Div 1 environment.
• Another C1 D2 environment using Acoustics Imager for liquids pipeline slow leaks & silent leaks inside pipeline across valves.
• Simulation or analytical justification of key performance targets (frequency range, beam profile, sensitivity, SNR) using tools such as COMSOL, ANSYS, MATLAB, or equivalent
• A concise bill of materials with at-least two vendor options for critical components
• Recommendations for calibration, on-site implementation, and future scalability

Final acceptance will hinge on the design meeting the specified inspection depth and resolution limits we will set together at project kickoff, and on your documentation being clear enough for our in-house engineering team to move directly into prototyping.

If you have hands-on experience designing ultrasonic NDT platforms and can back it up with solid modeling and practical know-how, I’d love to review your approach and timeline.
It will be fixed price work after scope defined in mutual collaboration.
