7-Year Profit & Loss Statement

Job ID: 40181260

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a complete profit-and-loss statement that covers the last seven tax years and lands in my hands as a single, tidy PDF ready for the IRS. My previous filings follow a fairly consistent pattern, so the figures in this reconstruction should be extrapolated from the typical income-to-expense percentages that appear most often in my past returns.

Here’s where I stand:
• Format: final deliverable in PDF (a working Excel or Google Sheet behind the scenes is fine as long as the PDF matches it).
• Source data: I don’t yet have the ledgers, receipts, or bank downloads organised, so I’ll need your guidance gathering and structuring everything.
• Income type to include: Business income only—no wages or investment activity.

What I expect from you:
1. A short discovery call or checklist so we can pin down the percentage benchmarks from my prior returns.
2. Clear instructions on which statements, bank feeds, or merchant reports you need me to pull.
3. Draft P&L for each tax year, showing revenue, cost of goods sold (if any), operating expenses, and net profit—all based on the agreed-upon percentage method.
4. One consolidated PDF containing the seven separate yearly statements, labelled and ready to attach to the back-tax filing.
5. A brief notes page that explains the estimation method so my accountant—and the IRS—can see the logic.

Accuracy, transparency, and a quick turnaround are critical. If you regularly work in QuickBooks, Xero, or a similar system and can translate that work into an audit-friendly PDF, let’s get started.
