Xero Expense Categorization Cleanup

I need an experienced Xero bookkeeper to go through my existing file and bring order to every expense line. The bank feeds are already in place; what’s missing is a clear, consistent categorization structure.

Scope of work
• Review all current transactions and recode them into the correct buckets: Operational expenses, Travel expenses, and Supplies & Materials.
• Keep operational expenses at a high-level; I’m not looking for granular sub-accounts, just clean, sensible groupings that match Xero’s standard chart.
• Merge or retire any duplicate or unused expense accounts so reports reflect only the three categories above.
• Deliver a brief hand-over report summarizing changes and any edge cases I should be aware of.

When finished, I expect to open Xero and immediately see accurate expense totals on the Dashboard, Profit & Loss, and Budget Variance reports, with no stray accounts cluttering the chart. If you’re confident with Xero’s bulk recode tool and know your way around the Chart of Accounts, this should be a focused, fast project.
