I'm seeking an experienced accountant with expertise in Xero and Australian tax regulations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy of my financial records and providing insights for better financial decisions.
Key Tasks:
- Audit bookkeeping for inaccuracies, duplicates, or missing entries.
- Reconcile bank transactions and ensure Xero invoices match actual payments.
- Review income tax and BAS lodgements from the past two years, flagging any issues or overpayments.
- Analyze financial data to identify wasteful expenses and offer actionable advice for cost-saving.
- Provide clear, jargon-free explanations to help me understand my financial status.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Xero
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws
- Excellent analytical skills
- Previous experience in bookkeeping and financial auditing
- Clear communication skills
