Urgent: Finance Manager for CruCore Solutions

CruCore Solutions L.L.C., a newly established company in the UAE, provides operational and financial support to its clients, including Cru Wine sales offices in France, UAE, and the UK and the view to open Singapore. Cru Wine is an award-winning international wine merchant specialising in fine wine and rare spirits, with a reputation for excellence across over 50 countries. We are expanding our operations, and this is a key role to support our ongoing growth.
Position Overview:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions of CruCore Solutions, ensuring strong financial management across the company and its clients. You will work closely with the CEO to implement financial strategies that support the company’s growth. Additionally, you will be instrumental in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The role will also involve managing a Finance Assistant who will support the day-to-day financial operations. It will be important to produce monthly board packs which consolidates the P&L, cashflow and balance sheets of all entities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals. Collaborate with senior management to optimise financial performance.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, track progress against budgets, and regularly update financial forecasts.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely presentation to the leadership team.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity and working capital.
• Cost Control & Efficiency: Identify areas for cost savings and work with other departments to optimise spending.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and manage internal audits, tax filings, and other compliance matters.
• Team Leadership: Supervise the Finance Assistant, ensuring efficient management of invoicing, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Financial Support for Business Decisions: Provide financial insights to assist in decision-making for new projects and company expansions.
Experience and Skills Required:
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a similar-sized organisation or within the fine wine/spirits industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience in cash flow management and implementing cost-control measures.
• Knowledge of compliance and risk management in a multi-jurisdictional business environment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and oversee the Finance Assistant.
• Strong proficiency in the financial software Xero and Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communicator with the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting is required and knowledge GAAP required
