External Tax and Accounting Consultant for Indonesia
Scope:
Ensure Tax consultation and analyze the tax implications for the client to conduct their activity in Indonesia and country of origin.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all required tax returns (income tax, sales tax, property tax, etc.).
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal tax laws.
Implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liability.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or other applicable accounting standards.
Develop, implement, and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff.
Stay informed about the latest accounting software and technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in tax planning, accounting, and financial management.
In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Experience in developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize financial outcomes and ensure compliance.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial information to various stakeholders.
