TDL Developer Needed – Automated IDC Service Billing System in Tally Prime Gold v7
Overview
We are an Internet Data Center (IDC) business looking to build a custom TDL add-on for Tally Prime Gold v7 to automate service billing, advance revenue, revenue sharing, and statutory reporting.
Development will be tested on Desktop EDU version first, then deployed on AWS cloud. The same TDL must work in both environments.

Customers under Sundry Debtors (no Cash sales)
Bill-wise tracking mandatory
Indian GST / TDS compliance required
Key Functional Requirements
1. Service Billing
Services: Cloud IDC, Managed Hosting, Co-location, Other IDC services
Billing frequency: Monthly / Quarterly / Half-yearly / Yearly (calendar based)
Custom invoice fields (via TDL):
Service Group
Billing Frequency
Customer PO No & PO Date
Service Start Date & End Date (per service line)
Services as service items under main income ledgers
2. Automated / Recurring Billing
Auto-generate next invoice based on customer service configuration
Prevent duplicate billing for same period
Allow manual override
3. Collections & Outstanding
Receipt vouchers linked to invoices
Track paid / partially paid / unpaid invoices
Handle TDS and GST-TDS deductions
4. Revenue Sharing Logic
Partner revenue share: 50% : 50% (configurable)
From our 50%, 65% payable to subsidiary company (configurable)
Electricity charges recovered from partner share
10% partner share hold if confirmation/penalty pending
Ratio changes allowed with effective date (no retro recalculation)
5. Advance & Accrued Revenue
Day-wise revenue recognition excluding GST
Automatic Advance Revenue booking at period end
Automatic reversal in next period
Works even if invoice unpaid
6. Compliance & Rounding
GST, TDS, GST-TDS as per Indian law
Separate statutory rounding for tax components
