Sydney Part-Time Xero Bookkeeper
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I am the CFO for a growing Art Gallery in Sydney and need a reliable bookkeeper who is already fluent in Xero to take charge of our day-to-day accounts for 15–20 hours each week. One of those days must be spent in our office so you can dive into whatever needs hands-on attention—whether that’s clearing A/P and A/R backlogs, running payroll, or finalising a tricky bank reconciliation. The rest of your hours can be completed remotely and spread across the week to keep everything current.
Here’s the rhythm I’d like to establish: you’ll handle the full bookkeeping cycle—processing supplier bills and customer invoices, reconciling our bank and credit-card feeds, lodging BAS and PAYG, calculating payroll tax, and closing each month so my financials stay clean and audit-ready. Because the work touches every part of our ledger, accuracy and up-to-date knowledge of Australian compliance rules are essential.
If you’re an experienced Xero user who can commit to one in-person day in Sydney and keep the remaining hours flexible online, I’d love to hear how you can keep our books running smoothly.
