Setting up a small business with Quickbooks
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are starting up a small business and would like to use QuickBooks as a bookkeeping accounting and a way to keep track of our revenue and expenses something pretty simple I don’t expect to have more than 25 track of account entries we do have a small website and would like to see if the website can communicate with something in QuickBooks or do we need to extract the data from the website each day and put them into QuickBooks
Our website will be able to take reservations and people will be willing to pay and by the way the business involves taking people out on boarding tours in Honolul Hawaii so what happens is they pay for the trip online and would like some kind of accounting system to do just that. Like any other business we will have a lot of miscellaneous expenses that we wanna break down like fuel slip fees insurance etc. so we would like to put those in a chart of accounts so we can allocate which expensive they are as we get them. The majority of expenses will be COD and very few will be on an account but still we wanna be able to input all these bills or expenses as we pay for them every day.
We already purchased a subscription into QuickBooks and it’s the one that’s $40 discounted from $80 a month it’s not the cheapest one to the left that started at $12 I think that was quick start is the one just above it.
Is it gonna be enough I don’t know so maybe somebody can tell us what we need.
So what I like to do is find someone who’s very very knowledgeable with Quickbooks and how to use it to its fullest capacity for what we want to do the business and itself at first anyway we don’t think will earn that much money maybe $50,000 a month tops that’s going way over and they said will get probably no more than 25 different types of entries for the chart of accounts. And by the way are used Quickbooks in the past but that was a long time ago probably in the early 2000s. And we will not have any payroll. So if you’d like to tackle this project of just setting up our QuickBooks account please contact me right away and we can get started. As I said we already have Quickbooks loaded on a laptop computer but it is a cloud-based platform from what I see so basically anybody can help us get this going. Just need to see an expert that knows how to set this up I’ve looked on YouTube they make it sound so easy but of course they know exactly what they’re doing and that’s what I’m looking for in you
