I am in immediate need of a Senior Accountant with expertise in financial statements, tax planning, and preparation to join our team at a Chartered Accountancy firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a broad range of financial tasks that are crucial for our clients' success.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Financial Statements Preparation**: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as the general ledger accounts, and document business transactions. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- **Tax Planning and Preparation**: Assist in planning and preparing periodic tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
**Skills and Experience:**
- Proven experience in financial statements preparation.
- Strong knowledge in tax planning and preparation; adept at various tax forms and laws.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
**Ideal Candidate:**
- A qualified Senior Accountant with a CA or equivalent degree.
- Experience in any industry is beneficial, as adaptability is key.
