Seeking Experienced Accountant for 501(c)(3) Nonprofit – Expertise in IRS Form 990
Budget: $125 – $250 USD
We are seeking a highly experienced accountant specializing in 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to support our mission-driven work. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience preparing and filing IRS Form 990 or 990-EZ and providing compliance guidance tailored to nonprofit regulations.
Your role will include:
- Preparing and filing accurate IRS Form 990 or 990-EZ for our organization.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for nonprofits.
- Conducting detailed financial analysis and offering budgeting support.
- Assisting with audits to ensure smooth processes.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years preparing and filing IRS Form 990 or 990-EZ for 501(c)(3) organizations.
2. Track Record: Must have personally prepared at least [Y] Form 990 or 990-EZ returns in the last 24 months (please specify how many).
3. Skills: Strong understanding of nonprofit financial regulations, including IRS compliance, budgeting, and audit preparation.
4. Certifications (Optional): CPA or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory.
