Sales Transaction Data Entry
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m looking for a reliable bookkeeper to take raw sales data from my point-of-sale reports and enter each transaction into my bookkeeping system on a regular basis. The work is strictly data entry for sales transactions—no account reconciliation, payroll, or tax work at this stage—so accuracy and consistency are critical.
You’ll receive daily or weekly sales summaries (CSV or PDF). Your job is to record every sale, categorize it correctly, note payment method, and flag any obvious discrepancies. I currently track everything in Excel, but I’m open to you working directly in QuickBooks Online or a similar cloud tool if that streamlines the process.
Deliverables
• All sales transactions entered and dated correctly
• Categories and payment methods assigned exactly as provided
• Running total that matches my source report to the cent
I’ll provide a short onboarding video, a sample file, and an email address for questions. Once you’re comfortable, I expect turnaround within 24 hours of receiving each batch.
