Retail Profitability Analysis & Budgeting
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m looking for a seasoned finance partner to dive into my retail operation’s numbers, sharpen our profitability insights, and build a clear, actionable budget for the year ahead.
What I need:
• Profitability analysis that pinpoints our highest- and lowest-margin products, highlights sales trends, and translates findings into practical recommendations.
• A structured budgeting framework—monthly and annual—that incorporates historical results, seasonal swings, and planned initiatives so we can track performance against realistic, data-driven targets.
• Concise reporting packs (Excel or Google Sheets) with charts and summary commentary I can present to stakeholders.
• A short hand-over call or video walkthrough to ensure my team fully understands the model and assumptions.
You’ll succeed in this role if you:
• Have a strong background in retail finance and cost accounting.
• Work comfortably with large data sets, pivot tables, and visualization tools.
• Communicate findings in plain language, spotlighting the “so what” behind the numbers.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
I’m ready to provide historical sales files, inventory reports, and any additional data you specify. Let’s collaborate to turn raw figures into clear direction for smarter, more profitable decisions.
