Job Title: Part-Time Remote Finance & Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Finance & Business Intelligence Analyst to support our monthly financial closing process on a part-time, remote basis. This role involves analyzing, reconciling, and optimizing key financial data, with a particular focus on managing complex freight cost allocations and revenue tracking. You’ll be instrumental in providing accurate financial reporting and insights that will directly impact our profitability analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile high-volume freight invoices from multiple sources and ensure precise cost allocation.
Support revenue tracking, including resale of freight services, ensuring all revenue is accurately captured in monthly reports.
Conduct financial reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors) as part of the monthly close process.
Provide business intelligence insights by analyzing trends, highlighting key financial metrics, and preparing monthly reports.
Document and improve financial and reporting processes for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in finance, accounting, or business intelligence, ideally with exposure to logistics or ecommerce sectors.
Strong analytical skills and expertise in working with large datasets.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
