Quickbooks cleanup, reconciliation

Year end reconciliation for two related companies. One is a commercial roofing company, the other an online kayak sales company. The bookkeeper looking after the accounts was not very knowledgeable, and the accountant supervising her was not doing her job. Purchases from suppliers were entered as journal entries, making it hard to follow and account for invoices and credit notes. There may be missed entries or double entries. Also, currency exchange transactions (CAD to USD) were not tracked accurately. As well, there were transactions made between the two companies (loans from one to the other) that need to be tracked and balanced. I would also like a monthly service, reconciling both accounts.
