Provide information on VAT and Invoicing in China
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The project requires knowledge in tax accounting of Chinese expenses. Followup projects may come with actual processing of invoices for VAT purposes.
The outcome of this project is a word document - between 4-8 pages, that includes this information in English:
a. Description of the types of invoices/receipts in China such as Fapiao and Special Fapiao. Include the name, the description and the explanation of when it is used in each case.
Use bullets or a table.
b. A structured explanation of which type of invoice/receipt is required in order to deduct Chinese VAT for a Chines company. There are different types that are ok per each case. This section should include a table with numbered elements.
c. Per each type of document in section b - describe the elements that must be on the document to make it eligible to deduct VAT (for example must be amount, must have date etc').
d. Describe any other requirement that needs to be checked according to the Tax authorities to allow deduction and be compliant.
e. E-invoice: are customers in China sometimes receive e-invoice in digital format? what is the format?
f. For e-invoice - what are the special conditions to deduct VAT?
g. Once the company has a list of expenses with good invoices to deduct VAT - how is this done? how is VAT being deducted in China?
You should have the following capabilities to take this project:
- Know English
- Native Chinese located in China
- Experience in Chinese accounting and taxes and processing expenses
- Capability to provide clear answers
