Product Valuation -- 2
Budget: £10 – £750 GBP
We have created a BioEnergy Carbon Capture and Storage ("BECCS") Micro-CHP with an electricity to heat ratio of 1:1.5 and 99.9% total emissions capture.
It uses Rapeseed Oil as a fuel source, and thus removes, captures and stores 49t of CO2 per month per 75kW generator.
In addition to the sale of energy to the UK national grid, and the sale of electricity and DHW to customers direct, it also produces a revenue stream from the sale of recovered waste.
In summary, our revenues per kWh are:
1) £0.10p/kWh for heat and DHW
2) £0.20p/kWh for direct electricity sales to customers (25% of total generating capacity)
3) 50% of UK wholesale electricity prices (75% of total generating capacity)
4) £0.07p/kWh for carbon credits via the UK ETS
5) £0.09p/kWh for waste recovery
Our CAPEX, amortised over 15 years, is £0.004p/kWh
Our unit OPEX is £0.12p/kWh
As such, we are interested in having an experienced financial analyst, who starts their bid with the statement "I am Groot," to assess the value of our product.
We will use this information as a building block to work out our business strategy.
Rules for bidding:
1) Do not bid low and then try to change your bid to a higher bid. This will automatically exclude you from the bidding process.
2) Do not state qualifications/experience you do not have. We will be requesting that you provide us with proof of your qualifications and experience, and failure to provide proof will result in your bid being excluded from shortlisting.
3) Do not use a templated response (and yes, I can tell). Although using one will not get you disqualified, it will probably mean that I do not read your bid, as it will be apparent to me that you have not read this project description.
4) If you require further information, over and above what I have provided in this description, state what it is and why you need it to accurately bid. You will be permitted to change you bid, if this information means you will need to spend longer assessing the product's valuation.
5) State clearly in your bid how many hours it will take you conduct this work, and when you can have it completed by.
Happy bidding!
