Part-time Data Entry/Bookkeeping
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Cape May Linen is a small-town, family owned and operated home goods retail boutique, in need of a detailed-oriented individual with data-entry and bookkeeping skills.
We need help completing our quarterly entry-level financials within our cloud-based software and organizing our inventory list per location to accommodate our stock needs accurately.
This is a part-time position, on a quarterly basis preferably, that will report to the company's owner/CFO. You will work closely with the CFO to perform the following duties:
- Bank transactions, including monthly reconciliation
- Credit Card transactions. including monthly reconciliation
- Entry of purchases + purchase orders in point-of-sale system
- Item creation of new stock in inventory-based system
- Compile inventory reporting per location (Square/Excel)
- Entry-level financial reports (Zipbooks and/or Xero)
- Deposit entry (manual journal entries)
- Sales Tax reconciliation
Preferably, we'd like a candidate to have experience with excel, Zip books, and/or Xero and Square.
