Part-Time Entry-Level Accountant Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I'm looking for a part-time, entry-level accountant to assist with bookkeeping and maintaining financial records. This role is expected to require a few hours a week, keeping data up-to-date and accurate.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining invoices and receipts
- Keeping track of expense reports
Ideal Skills:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficient in data entry
- Good organizational skills
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience in accounting. Please note that while I haven't specified a particular software, familiarity with Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, or Wave would be a plus.
1. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and manage invoices, payments, and receipts.
2. Track and reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
3. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
4. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
5. Expense Tracking: Monitor and record expenses, including job-related costs, to maintain accurate job costing records.
6. Tax Preparation: Assist with the preparation of tax documents.
7. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts to help guide business decisions.
8. Organize and store financial documents securely.
