Job ID: 37915428

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

I requiure the calculation for Date of Marriage the Applicant is entitled to (if any)

• January 2000, The Respondent moved into the house the Applicant was renting from her Mother
• August 2000, the two became engaed to be married.
• February 2001, the two bought the house together from the Applicant's Mother $120,000
• No down payment was needed, $5000 was gifted from the Applicant's Mother.
• The house was purchaced in Applicant's name only February 2001
• October 2001 the two were married after a year of being engaged and 9 months after the two purchased the house.
• When it came time to refinance the mortgage 2007, title of the property was placed into both of their names
• The two separated April 2021
• Applicant is claiming unequal net family property division

Given that th two bought the house (in Applicant's name initially), 9 months before we were married, how does those 9 months entitle her to Date of Marriage Deduction (if any)?
- Respondent has been paying his share of mortgage payments and household expenses since day one until this day.
- Not to mention the ongoing major home renovations throughout the years.
