NASDAQ Subsidiaries Tax Provision
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I need an experienced tax professional to prepare and document the quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations for several international subsidiaries of a NASDAQ-listed parent. The entities operate in the USA and across South America, so fluency with ASC 740, local GAAP/IFRS differences, and cross-border considerations is essential.
Your work will feed directly into our SEC filings, so I will rely on you to deliver precise figures, clear workpapers, and concise explanation memos that reconcile book-to-tax differences and reflect current statutory rates, NOL utilisation, and any uncertain tax positions. I will provide prior-year files, trial balances, and consolidation schedules; you will build or refine the Excel models, update disclosures, and flag any planning opportunities you spot along the way.
Deliverables
• Complete tax provision calculation for each subsidiary and a consolidated summary
• Supporting Excel workpapers with formulas intact and review notes addressed
• Brief memo outlining key assumptions, permanent/temporary differences, and any material exposures
I consider the project finished when the numbers tie to our financial statements, the auditor can follow your documentation without follow-up questions, and all output is ready for upload to our reporting system. If you have recent Big 4 or in-house SEC experience and can turn this around quickly, let’s talk.
