Master Pricing Spreadsheet Creation
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I'm looking for an Excel whizz with finance experience to help me build a master pricing spreadsheet for my business, which manages 2,000+ products. I currently have a spreadsheet, but it was completed 12 months ago, so it may need cross-checking and updating for accuracy.
As I’m updating my website, I also need a structured tiered pricing system with percentage-based discounts for different customer levels. This is why I’m looking for someone who understands the difference between mark-up and profit margin, as this will be the foundation of the pricing structure.
? POS Compatibility: The final spreadsheet should be fully compatible with my POS system’s import feature. This means it must be formatted correctly so that I can easily update and import pricing changes without manual adjustments. You may need more details on this to ensure the best setup.
The goal is to create a detailed, dynamic, and structured spreadsheet that clearly separates:
✅ Cost Price
✅ Retail Price
✅ Wholesale Price
✅ Website Pricing (tiered discounts applied)
✅ POS-Compatible Format for Easy Import & Updates
Ideal Skills & Experience:
✔️ Advanced Excel formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, etc.)
✔️ Financial calculations (profit margin vs. mark-up, discount structures)
✔️ Data organization for large datasets
✔️ POS system import formatting (experience with retail/e-commerce preferred)
✔️ Automation & efficiency (macros/pivot tables a plus)
✔️ Ensuring accuracy & ease of updating
If you have experience with pricing structures, finance, and POS system compatibility, I’d love to hear from you!
