Once the information is entered, I need it cleaned—duplicate lines removed, obvious typos fixed, and fields standardized so that the final dataset is ready for calculation and audit.

The second part is ongoing bookkeeping. Using the freshly cleaned data, you’ll update the general ledger, post transactions to the correct accounts, and keep the books balanced each period.
