Management Accountant -- 2
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
We are a leading bookkeeping and accounting firm in Melbourne led by a CPA. We have client work using MYOB and Xero. We are seeking great people who want to learn lots, be challenged, and be part of our team.
We require an experienced management accountant with bookkeeping experience to supervise 2-3 of our bookkeepers and communicate with our clients. You will oversee payroll, data entry, admin, AR and AP, and bank and credit card reconciliations. You will require strong communication skills as the role is a blend of client account management and technical supervision. Experience with Australian clients is strongly preferred. Having lived in Australia in the past is an advantage. If you do not have CPA or CA qualifications, we would expect you to have at least 5 years management experience in a similar role.
To begin the work will be about 10 hours per week. Once you demonstrate your ability this will quickly increase to around 30-40 per week if you want that much. We are seeking a long-term business relationship. The hourly rate is AUD $9 per hour. This is not negotiable but may increase to $12 AUD after 9 months. We provide you all software needed.
To be successful you need strong communication skills (75 plus PTE scores). You must pass a 90-minute exam from home that tests your ability on MYOB and Australian bookkeeping knowledge. Given most overseas people will fail the exam we are offering to train you for free. We have a complete online training programme teaching MYOB, Xero and Australian legislation. We normally charge $1290 for the course but offering it to shortlisted candidates free. You can choose to skip the training and do the exam first time but when/ if you fail you will not be given a second attempt. You will have a 5-week limit to complete the 25 hours of training. You must be in a country that allows you to access Australian based websites. This likely rules out people in China. You must not be residing in Australia. The work must be done by you personally. If we find you are outsourcing the work or paying your staff to do the work, we will not pay you. To be considered you must provide answers to all the below question. If you miss any of these your application will not be processed. Please take time to read and submit an application.

2. Your resume (resend it to this email address even if you pasted it in Freelancer)
