Google Sheets Revenue Report Cleanup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Sales reports, bank statements, and audit-prep worksheets currently sit in separate files. Everything needs to live in one Google Sheet, properly cleaned, logically organised, and analysed so I can see an accurate, up-to-date revenue picture at a glance.
The workflow I have in mind starts with importing all raw data, then scrubbing it for obvious issues—duplicate rows, inconsistent date or currency formats, stray characters—before mapping every transaction to the correct revenue stream. Once the data foundation is solid, the next step is to build a dynamic revenue report that uses formulas, Pivot Tables, QUERY, and charts to surface totals, trends, and variances. The finished report should be audit-ready, meaning every figure can be traced back to its original line item.
Deliverables
• One Google Sheet containing a “Raw Data” tab (fully cleaned) and a “Revenue Report” dashboard (interactive, auto-updating).
• A brief documentation tab outlining key formulas and any assumptions made, so an auditor—or I—can follow the logic without guesswork.
If you already have proven tricks for handling multi-source sales data in Sheets, feel free to apply them here; simplicity and transparency are more important to me than flashy visuals.
