Freelancer for Accounts Role (Financial Statement Preparation & Tax Filing)

With established subsidiary companies in Malaysia, we are now looking to hire an experienced freelancer to manage the accounting responsibilities for these subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Statement Preparation:
Compile and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy.
Ensure compliance with both local and international accounting standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to obtain the necessary financial data.
2. Tax Filing:
Prepare and submit tax returns in line with Malaysian tax regulations.
Ensure tax filings are timely to prevent any penalties.
Stay abreast of the latest tax laws and regulations in Malaysia.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles.
Proficiency in Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
