Forensic Accountant Litigation Support

Job ID: 39917356

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

An active legal dispute has reached the stage where a court-qualified forensic chartered accountant is required to step in. The matter centres on alleged financial loss, so I need authoritative expert witness testimony paired with a clear, defensible damage assessment.

The records on hand include:
• Book-keeper-prepared spreadsheets that summarise several years of transactions
• Selected bank and credit-card statements
• A mix of sales invoices and supplier bills
• Filed tax returns

Your remit is to trace the money, test the integrity of the figures, quantify economic damages, and translate the findings into a report that meets court rules of evidence. Once the report is filed, I will also rely on you to present and defend the conclusions—whether that is by affidavit, deposition, or live testimony.

Deliverables
1. Comprehensive written expert report (PDF and editable source)
2. Detailed damage-calculation schedules with supporting workpapers (Excel)
3. Annotated source-document index for easy cross-reference
4. Court-ready slide deck or summary, if the judge requests visual aids
5. Availability for testimony, remote or on-site, at the date set by counsel

I will be providing all documents to create an Excel sheet of expenses that occurred over approximately 10 years on the properties. Most items have roughly the same cost over the years. I can also provide available invoices to support the expenses that were paid. This is needed for litigation, and I require someone who can authenticate the records.

Experience with Excel, IDEA or similar data-analytics tools, and a solid track record of courtroom appearances will be highly valued. The timetable is tight—initial findings are expected within three weeks of document hand-over, with the final report due shortly after discovery closes.

Let me know your credentials, typical methodology, and anticipated turnaround so we can move forward immediately.
