Financial Operations Specialist (Zoho Books)

Job Description:
Arbitrary is looking for a meticulous finance operator to manage our accounting systems, expense flows, and procurement records using Zoho Books. You will handle reconciliations, invoice tracking, UAE VAT documentation, and bridge supplier payments with internal cost centers. This is a role for someone who thrives in data accuracy, knows the UAE financial landscape, and enjoys streamlining messy systems.
You’ll also help us tag and track expenses across multiple credit cards, bank accounts, and projects. If you’re an analytical thinker who understands both compliance and operations, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain financial hygiene in Zoho Books and Zoho Payroll
• Reconcile expenses and card statements
• Track client invoices, follow up on due payments
• Manage vendor payments, procurement logs, and quote-to-invoice conversions
• Upload and categorize receipts into Zoho
• Help with tax filing and financial reporting (UAE-specific)
Required Tools & Skills:
• Deep Zoho Books expertise (invoicing, projects, expenses, payroll)
• Google Sheets and Excel proficiency
• Knowledge of UAE VAT, payroll, and compliance
• Familiarity with ClickUp/Trello for task tracking
• Structured and analytical mindset
Time Commitment: 10–12 hours/week
