About the Role
We are looking for a reliable Finance Assistant based in Bolivia to support international money transfers and financial operations. This is an administrative support role, focused on ensuring that funds are handled in line with Bolivian banking regulations and international compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with local banks and/or authorized casas de cambio to convert Bolivianos (BOB) into U.S. Dollars (USD) at favorable, legal exchange rates.
Assist with preparing the required banking forms and compliance documents for international wire transfers.
Work with our international finance team to send USD abroad using approved services (e.g., bank transfers, Wise, or other regulated remittance channels).
Maintain clear records of all transactions, receipts, and exchange operations.
Provide periodic reporting on exchange rates and transfer fees to help optimize costs.
Requirements
Must be legally eligible to work and bank in Bolivia.
Active Bolivian bank account in your own name.
Experience with banking transactions, currency exchange, or finance administration.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow compliance procedures.
Good communication skills in english
Nice to Have
Prior experience with international transfers (Wise, Western Union, bank SWIFT wires).
Background in accounting, finance, or related fields.
