I'm currently in need of a proficient accountant who is not only well-versed in general accounting principles but also has a keen eye for financial analysis. My project primarily revolves around two key areas – bookkeeping and financial analysis. Here's what I'm looking for:
- **Skillful Bookkeeping**: You'll be responsible for maintaining precise records of financial transactions, which is crucial for the health of my business. An in-depth understanding of debit and credit principles is a must, alongside the ability to categorize and record all financial transactions accurately.
- **Insightful Financial Analysis**: Your role will involve analyzing financial data to provide insights that will help drive business decision-making. This includes analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and predicting future revenues and expenses.
**Software Tools**:
- Although not primary, experience with Odoo is highly valued as it's the software we will be implementing this year. Adaptability or the ability to quickly learn its functionality would be considered a significant advantage.
**Ideal Skills and Experience**:
- Proven bookkeeping experience with a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Odoo, or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills to manage financial records and efficiently report data.
- Excellent knowledge of English is mandatory while French and/or Italian would be welcome.
**General Accounting**:
- Though the tasks are specific, a general knowledge in various accounting areas will be beneficial as it would allow for a wider perspective and application of best practices across the board.

Need to travel abroad when necessary to check the accounting situation of the other companies in the group and consolidate the figures.
The base of operations is in Cyprus while the requested activity can be performed remotely/online.
