Experienced EA for Tax Returns
Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD
rebel Financial is seeking an experienced outsourced Enrolled Agent (EA) to support tax preparation for approximately 300–400 individual and small business tax returns during the upcoming tax season.
This is a focused tax preparation role. We already have a fully built system, defined workflows, and administrative support in place. Our team uses Drake Tax and TaxDome for preparation, workflow management, and filing. Client communication, document collection, organizers, and e-filing are handled by our internal team, allowing you to focus primarily on accurate and timely tax preparation.
The work will primarily involve individual returns and small business returns (1040s, Schedule C, Schedule F, and related forms). You will prepare returns within our established processes, review source documents for accuracy, and flag questions or missing information to our team as needed. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to handle seasonal volume are essential.
This role is structured as a seasonal, outsourced engagement, but we are intentionally looking beyond a one-season solution. We are actively growing our tax practice and expect to hire an in-house CPA or EA in the future. A strong performer may have the opportunity to continue working with us long-term—either as a permanent team member or as an ongoing remote tax preparer supporting our in-house tax leadership as the firm grows.
If you are an EA who values clear systems, professional support, and the potential for an ongoing relationship with a fast-growing tax team, this role offers both immediate work and longer-term opportunity.
