Experienced Bookkeeper & Xero Specialist

We are a rapidly expanding UK furniture group on an exciting journey. We are looking for a highly skilled Bookkeeper & Xero Specialist to join our team and support our financial operations.

Role Overview
As our Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and growth of our business. You will provide detailed financial insights, handle monthly management accounts, and help optimize our financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed monthly management accounts with insights into:
Profitability per brand and item.
Cash flow forecasts.
Cash conversion cycles.
Support strategic decision-making with in-depth analysis and actionable financial data.
Create and maintain budgets and financial plans tailored to scaling an ecommerce business.
Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations in Xero.
Ensure tax compliance and manage VAT submissions.
Optimize financial processes to improve operational efficiency.
Provide regular reporting to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Collaborate with leadership on financial strategies for growth and scalability.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
ACA/ACCA/CIMA certification is highly desirable.

Experience:

Proven experience working with ecommerce clients, ideally within the furniture industry.
Advanced proficiency in Xero.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze complex management accounts.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and actionable manner.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.
