Director of Accounting and Finance - US/Canada
Budget: $25 – $50 USD

We are expanding our team and we are looking for an experienced, multitasking and communicative Director of Accounting & Finance who will oversee all financial and accounting activities.
Qualifications:
● BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus;
● Proven experience as director of finance or similar role;
● Minimum 5 years in a similar role;
● Proficient user of NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero and [login to view URL];
● In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and
best practices (experience in Auditing is a plus);
● Knowledge of IFRS and U.S GAAP;
● Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting;
● Proficient in the use of a financial management software;
● CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus;
● Proficient user of Google Suites (Workspace).

Responsibilities and Duties:
● Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks;
● Ensure that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained;
● Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems;
● Ensures all functions are performed within the budgetary parameters to include the cost control
activities, monitoring revenue and expenditure;
● Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants,
internal auditors etc.);
● Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to management;
● Monitors and analyze monthly operating results against budget;
● Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines;
