Key Responsibilities:
-Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
-Accounts Management: Handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and manage payments and receipts.
-Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
-Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
-Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
-Payroll Processing: Manage payroll activities, including processing employee payments and maintaining records.
-Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
-Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of financial regulations.
-Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record keeping.
-Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Preferred Attributes:
-Certifications: Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
-Experience: Experience with international accounting standards or working with offshore teams.
