Debt-Focused Budgeting Spreadsheet Build

I’m ready to get a clear, category-based view of my money so I can accelerate my debt payoff plan. I already have the raw bank statements; what I need is a well-structured Google Sheets file that pulls everything together and keeps updating with minimal effort.

Here’s the framework I’d like you to create:

• One primary dashboard that summarizes monthly and year-to-date totals for Income, Expenses, and Debt payments, with simple charts for quick insight.
• A transactions sheet where each line from my statements lands and auto-drops into its proper category through rules or data validation—no manual re-sorting every month.
• Dedicated summary areas (or tabs) for Income, Expenses, and Debt payments, each rolling up from the transaction data and showing subtotals, averages, and variances.
• A debt payoff tracker that calculates snowball or avalanche scenarios and projects payoff dates based on the numbers already flowing in.
• Clear cell notes or a short how-to page explaining how to import future statements and refresh the reports.

Everything must live in Google Sheets and group the statements by category as the default view. If you know a clever script or add-on that speeds up imports or categorization, feel free to implement it—just keep the sheet clean, lightweight, and easy for me to tweak later.

I’ll consider the job complete when the file is shared, the formulas run error-free with my sample data, and the dashboard instantly reflects any new transactions I paste in.
