I’m looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to take charge of recording every sales, expense, and adjustment that flows through my business each day. The role is strictly focused on accurate transaction entry—no reconciliations or tax work for now—so speed, consistency, and zero-error data capture are what matter most.
You’ll receive digital copies of invoices, receipts, and bank feeds; your job is to log each item in the accounting system we already have in place, assign the proper chart-of-accounts code, and note any missing documentation so nothing slips through the cracks. I review financial reports weekly, which means your entries must be fully up to date by close of business every Friday.
Deliverables
• All transactions entered and categorized daily
• Brief end-of-week summary confirming totals and any outstanding queries
Acceptance criteria
• 100 % of provided source documents entered
• No duplicate entries
• Entries align with the account and tax categories we supply
If you’re comfortable living inside accounting software for a few hours each day and care about precision, I’d love to hear how you can keep our books spotless.
