Custom Invoicing & Billing Software

I need a developer who can create a streamlined accounting application whose number-one job is reliable invoicing and billing. The idea is to give my team a single dashboard where they can build professional invoices, apply taxes or discounts, send the documents by email or PDF, and track payment status in real time. A small set of bookkeeping screens (chart of accounts, ledger snapshots, basic profit-and-loss) will round it out, but the invoicing workflow is the heart of the project.

You’ll start by mapping a simple, well-structured database, then move on to the UI/UX and the core invoice engine. Clean, maintainable code and clear documentation are essential because we plan to extend the system later with payment-gateway hooks and additional financial reports.

Deliverables I expect
• A fully working invoicing & billing module with customer, product/service, tax and discount tables
• Export options (PDF, CSV) plus email dispatch with a configurable template
• User, role and permission management
• Source code, schema scripts, and a concise setup guide
