Controller or Full-Charge Bookkeeper for an R&D Company Funded by Federal Grants

An R&D medical device company recently awarded an NSF/SBIR grant seeks a controller or a full-charge bookkeeper thoroughly familiar with bookkeeping, accounting, compliance, and reporting rules for federal grants in general and NSF/SBIR in particular. We have a part-time bookkeeper, who enters invoices and pays bills. We seek an experienced controller to perform GAP analysis, review internal controls, and set up accounting policies and procedures, timekeeping policy, and accounting system. A substantial experience in overseeing books and accounting for companies funded by a Federal agency is a must. Experience with managing accounting for an NSF/SBIR-funded company is a strong plus.
