Comprehensive Tally & Excel Data

I have day-to-day transaction data flowing in from a silk-textile business and a few independent traders. Your job is to take that raw information, organise it in Excel or Google Sheets, and then post it correctly into Tally ERP. Every entry type is involved—sales invoices, purchase orders and the full range of inventory movements—so accuracy and a solid grasp of Tally conventions are essential.
Here’s what the workflow looks like: I’ll supply spreadsheets or scanned documents; you’ll clean and structure the figures, apply the right tax codes, and import them into Tally. While you’re inside Tally you’ll also handle stock additions, transfers and any adjustments, finishing up with clear inventory reports I can share with my accountant.
Deliverables
• Cleaned Excel/Google Sheets files ready for import
• Tally ERP company data updated with all sales, purchases and inventory entries
• Generated inventory and GST-ready tax reports in Tally (exported to PDF & Excel)
I’ve been managing accounts for over five years, so I’ll review the work quickly. If everything reconciles with my bank and stock records we’re done; if not, you’ll help me track down the variance. Familiarity with Excel formulas, Google-Sheet sharing permissions and the latest Tally build will make this smooth for both of us.
