Position Overview:
As a Financial Accountant and Bookkeeper for our Amazon FBA business, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing detailed reports to support business decisions. Your advanced accounting and Excel skills will be essential for creating comprehensive financial statements, managing cash flow, and ensuring financial accuracy across our eCommerce operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present detailed Profit & Loss statements, Cash Flow statements, and Balance Sheets.
Generate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to track business performance and identify trends such as ROI, profit, etc.
Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance and budget for upcoming periods.
Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate financial records for all transactions related to Amazon FBA operations, including sales, refunds, expenses, and inventory adjustments.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and Amazon transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct thorough financial analysis to assess the profitability of products and campaigns.
Evaluate financial data to recommend cost-saving measures and improve overall financial health.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
Monitor budget adherence and provide variance analysis to management.
Compliance and Best Practices:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and Amazon FBA policies.
Implement and maintain financial procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Excel Expertise:
Utilize advanced Excel functions and formulas to create complex financial models, pivot tables, and charts.
Develop custom Excel spreadsheets for specific financial analyses and reporting needs.

Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
Experience with Amazon FBA platforms and eCommerce accounting processes.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Software Knowledge:
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is preferred.
Experience with Amazon Seller Central and related tools for financial tracking and reporting.
