Financial & Tax Auditor Required for Trust-Based NGO

We are a Trust-structured NGO, registered for the past 8 years, and are currently seeking a seasoned professional to conduct a comprehensive financial and tax audit, followed by the filing of our Income Tax Returns (ITR). Our key goal is to maintain compliance and transparency in our financial operations as we plan for upcoming activities and donor engagement.

Scope of Work:
- Conduct a detailed financial audit
- Perform a tax audit in compliance with NGO/Trust regulations
- Prepare and file ITRs accordingly

Audit Coverage:
- Balance Sheets
- Income Statements
- Cash Flow Statements

Important Background:
- Though registered for 8 years, our activities have been minimal until now
- We do not have a bank account currently
- We are seeking consultation regarding the feasibility of filing backdated ITRs with nil returns

Ideal Candidate:
- Certified Auditor/Chartered Accountant
- Proven experience working with NGOs, particularly Trusts
- Deep understanding of financial compliance for NGOs
- Proficient in ITR filing, including backdated and nil returns
- Willing to guide us on setting up compliant financial practices going forward.
