Close UK Private Limited Company
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
My private limited company registered in England & Wales has stopped trading and every creditor has been paid. I now need to complete the formal strike-off procedure so the company is permanently removed from the Companies House register and any remaining HMRC obligations are wrapped up.
Please take care of the entire dissolution process for me—from checking that all statutory requirements are met through to the final confirmation of strike-off. I have no outstanding debts or liabilities, so a voluntary strike-off via form DS01 should be appropriate; however, I still want everything done meticulously and in line with the Companies Act 2006.
Deliverables
• Draft directors’ resolution and shareholder consent to close
• Preparation and electronic or paper filing of DS01 with Companies House (including payment of the filing fee)
• Guidance on, or preparation of, final micro-accounts and CT600 where needed, and submission to HMRC
• Template letters to banks, insurers and any other parties who must be notified of the intended strike-off
• Ongoing monitoring of the Companies House record until the dissolution notice is published in the Gazette and final confirmation is received
• A brief hand-over pack summarising actions taken, dates filed and any records I must retain after closure
Acceptance criteria
The company appears as “Dissolved” on the public Companies House register and I receive written confirmation from both Companies House and HMRC that no further filings or taxes are due.
All work can be handled remotely; I will provide existing accounts, authentication code, and any IDs you require once we start.
