Chart of Accounts Refinement & Mapping

We have been running QuickBooks for years and recently designed a fresh General Ledger chart of accounts. What I now need is a careful clean-up: tighten the new structure, eliminate redundancies, and then map every line item back to our legacy chart so historical data stays meaningful.
The objective is straightforward—sharper, more insightful financial reports—so the mapping must be accurate enough for seamless year-over-year analysis and audit trails.
Deliverables
• Reviewed and streamlined QuickBooks General Ledger COA, with inactive or duplicate accounts flagged
• Cross-reference matrix that links each old account to its new counterpart, delivered in Excel and imported into QuickBooks
• Short guideline on how to maintain the new structure going forward (naming rules, numbering logic, etc.)
I will provide both the current and legacy COA exports as well as sample reports. Please let me know your expected timeframe and any similar projects you have completed so I can gauge fit and schedule.
