Bookkeeping, GST & Audit Support
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a detail-oriented finance professional who can keep my books clean, compliant and ready for scrutiny at any time. The core of the role is day-to-day bookkeeping—accurate data entry of all receipts, payments and journal vouchers—followed by regular bank and ledger reconciliation so that every balance agrees by month-end.
Once the numbers are solid, I’ll rely on you to generate timely financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow and any custom MIS we identify) and ensure every GST return is prepared and filed on schedule, with all supporting working papers archived for easy reference.
Audit season is when your expertise will really count: I’ll need organised schedules, clear explanations of variances and quick turnaround on any follow-up questions from the auditors. Experience liaising directly with auditors and responding to their requests is essential.
Key deliverables
• Daily/weekly transaction entry in the accounting software we agree on
• Month-end bank, vendor and customer reconciliations
• Monthly management reports and GST return filing (GSTR-1, 3B, annual, etc.)
• Audit support pack: trial balance tie-outs, ledger extracts, variance analyses and prompt query resolution
If you work confidently in tools like Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks and have a solid grasp of Indian GST provisions, let’s connect—I’m keen to get the books in top shape and keep them there.
