Bookkeeping/Accounting/Forecasting for small computer hardware company
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Bookkeeping: we need ongoing help ensuring Quickbooks is up to date. This means uploading statements, categorizing charges, etc.
-Budgeting/Forecasting: We'd like to have a more user-friendly way of tracking burn, what we're spending our money on in a more detailed way. This might mean taking a look at the other systems we have (example: how we're doing employee expense reports) and coming up with not only a better operational solution, but also ongoing maintenance of that solution.
-Employee Compensation Modeling: Over time, we will also have more complex employee compensation. We'd love to be able to do light modeling as to what different scenarios could look like as we grow.
-Revenue/Modeling: in the next 6 months, we're hoping to generate revenue. We're trying to set a good foundation now for what we hope to be a bit more of a complex expense tracking/accounts receivable function in the future.
In an ideal world, you could also work closely with the founder on revenue projections once you learn a bit more about what we do.
I'm hoping this person will handle everything (soup to nuts) regarding finances at the company. For now, this is definitely just a part time job. Would love to start with someone and see where time takes us!
Any experience in Payroll is also a nice to have.
