Bookkeeper Contractor - India

We are seeking great people who want to learn lots, be challenged, and be part of our team. We require payroll, data entry, admin, AR and AP, and bank and credit card reconciliations. You have flexibility in the time of the day you work. To begin the work will be about 10-20 hours per week. Once you demonstrate your ability this will quickly increase to around 30-40 per week if you want that much. We are seeking a long-term business relationship. The hourly rate is AUD 4 per hour. This is not negotiable but may increase to AUD 4.50 after 6 months and AUD 5 after 9 months. We provide you with all the software needed. To be successful you need strong communication skills. You must pass a 90-minute exam from home that tests your ability on MYOB and Australian bookkeeping knowledge. Given most overseas people will fail the exam we are offering to train you for free. We have a complete online training programme teaching MYOB, Xero and Australian legislation. We normally charge $1290 for the course but offer it to shortlisted candidates for free. You can choose to skip the training and do the exam the first time but when/ if you fail you will not be given a second attempt. You will have a 5-week limit to complete the 25 hours of training. You must be in a country that allows you to access Australian-based websites. This likely rules out people in China. You must not be residing in Australia. The work must be done by you. If we find you are outsourcing the work or paying your staff to do the work, we will not pay you. The country you are working in must allow you to work as a contractor – we will not be employing anyone.

To be considered you must provide answers to all the below question. If you miss any of these your application will not be processed. Please take time to read and submit an application.

3. State the hours you are available (state in Sydney time zone). For example, 12 pm to 8 pm weekdays.
4. Experience using MYOB (if you have any if not training would be provided).
5. Experience using Xero (if you have any, if not training would be provided).
6. State if you wish to do the exam now or start the training first.
7. Reconfirm that you agree to the AUD 4 per hour rate.
8. Confirm that you agree to do the work personally.
