Bookkeeper/Accountant for UK Housing Agency

We are seeking a competent and reliable Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team at Bridge Housing UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reconciling bank feeds, managing cash flow analysis, and conducting various Excel analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting. You will work with rental income from multiple sources and oversee payment processing for individual housing units.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reconcile bank feeds to ensure accurate financial records.
• Perform cash flow analysis to manage and predict financial performance.
• Analyze financial data using Excel to assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Track and report on rental income received from various sources.
• Process outgoing payments and maintain detailed costings for individual housing units.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
• Assist in audits by providing documentation and support as required.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant, preferably in the housing or property sector.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
