Bank & Crypto Account Reconciliation
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m looking for a detail-oriented accountant to bring several bank accounts and two crypto exchanges—Kraken and Luno—into perfect alignment with our general ledger. The work covers every transaction type on those platforms: deposits, withdrawals, trades, and transfers between wallets, then ties each back to the corresponding fiat movements in our bank statements.
You’ll pull the data, match it line-by-line, flag discrepancies, and propose the correcting journal entries so that ending balances agree to the cent and every coin is accounted for. I’ll provide read-only exchange access and the exported bank statements; you choose the most efficient toolkit (Excel, Google Sheets, or reconciliation software) so long as the final workbook shows the source line, matched ledger entry, variance, and resolution note.
Deliverables
• Complete, balanced reconciliation workbooks for each bank account, Kraken, and Luno
• A summary report highlighting discrepancies found and how they were resolved
• Suggested journal entries ready to post in our accounting system
Acceptance criteria: all balances tie to official statements for the closing date we agree on, and any unreconciled items are clearly documented with next-step recommendations.
